State Fire Marshal Attendance Tracking

Client: Office of the State Fire Marshal

The Attendance Tracking System is used by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM) to manage attendance information for the purpose of complying with ethics standards, as well as to streamline collection and reporting of attendance and leave request information to Shared Services.

The system replaces a manual process comprised of spreadsheets and manual validation.

With the Attendance Tracking System, OSFM can:

  • Enter daily attendance information (start and end times) as well as overtime and comp time earned.
  • Submit leave requests for vacation, personal, illness and other time off.
  • Review and approve/reject attendance and leave request information
  • Compile bi-monthly reports of information to be emailed to Shared Services for entry into CTAS.
