IBHE Web Accessibility Consortium CommonLook™ Trial Program
MSF&W is pleased to be supporting the IBHE Web Accessibility Consortium CommonLook Trial Program. Consortium members may participate in the trial program free of charge, but must agree to the following requirements:
- Agree to use CommonLook in a cooperative manner, so all participants in the trial group can have equivalent access to the concurrent licenses (Total of 25 users, only 5 can use it at the same time).
- Agree to join a discussion list e-mail list to ask questions and share your experiences using CommonLook.
- Agree to participate in a monthly teleconference to share experiences of using CommonLook.
- If at anytime you stop using CommonLook, agree to inform the program coordinators and uninstall the software so the license can be made available to other participants.
Please use the following instructions to download and install the CommonLook software:
Instructions for Installing CommonLook™
- Confirm that you have Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional (not Reader) installed.
- Uninstall any previous versions of CommonLook that you have installed.
- Download the CommonLook Installer: CL4_1_2Section508.zip
- Unzip CL4_1_2Section508.zip
- Run Setup.exe
- When asked to Select Licensing Method, choose Use CommonLook Licensing Server.
- When prompted, enter your User Name and Company, but leave Product Key blank.
- Download the CommonLook License Server Setup Script: IBHECommonLookSetup.zip
- Unzip IBHECommonLookSetup.zip
- When prompted, enter the IBHE CommonLook Trial Password.
(If you need the password, email nzak@msfw.com.) - Run SetLicenseServer.vbs
- Open a PDF document in Acrobat, open the Plug-Ins menu, select CommonLook, and check that it works.
