Illinois Sound Beginnings Web Site

Client: University of Illinois at Chicago Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC)

In 2007, MSF&W designed and developed the Illinois Sound Beginnings web site as a resource to provide information to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Using DSCC's graphic design and images, MSF&W created the web site using cross-browser, standards-compliant XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript and provided templates that could be used to maintain and expand the site. MSF&W ensured that the site was fully compliant with the Illinois Web Accessibility Standards and usable with leading assistive technologies including ZoomText, JAWS, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
