ID:webArchive 3.5, scheduled for release in January 2012, will offer document management
The newest version of ID:webArchive, scheduled for general release in January 2012, will have a number of exciting new features.
- ID:webArchive 3.5 offers Document Management capability. Version 3.5.0 will introduce support for Microsoft Office documents (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio). Users can open, edit, and save changes to MS Office documents within ID:webArchive.
- ID:webArchive 3.5 offers Document Authorship flexibility. A new WORKSPACE MODE, allows users to start new MS Office documents and create their own dynamic file structure to share, collaborate, create templates for document and much more.
- ID:webArchive 3.5 has a completely overhauled thin client mode. Easy to use, yet more powerful than the previous version.
Our developers have been busy adding other small features and enhancements such as:
- New hot-keys for frequently used commands
- An “expand-all” command in browse history tree
- Ability to "Publish to PDF" or Print multiple documents from the grid panel search results
- Ability to create global search profiles
- Ability to easily export a document via email
- Ability to import and store virtually any electronic file
All clients (currently on ID:webArchive Annual Maintenance) are eligible to upgrade to ID:webArchive 3.5 with no additional licensing fees.
