Kirtland Chooses ID:webArchive for Document Imaging

Springfield, IL August 5, 2009 — MSF&W Software, developer of ID:webArchive Enterprise imaging solution, recently announced that Kirtland Community College (KCC) has selected ID:webArchive Enterprise for its document imaging system. Following initial implementation in the Registration Office, KCC plans to expand ID:webArchive campus-wide to improve operational efficiencies across the College. With instant access to important documents through ID:webArchive, College staff can access information whenever they need it, from wherever they are, improving student service and staff productivity.

With nearly 40 years worth of paper records on their hands, KCC began looking for a solution to their “paper problem.” KCC recognized the efficiencies they would gain with the right document imaging solution in place. After a comprehensive search of imaging solutions, KCC selected ID:webArchive for its robust features and enterprise-wide scalability. In addition to the base imaging product, KCC choose to implement several additional feature sets that MSF&W makes available with ID:webArchive such as Optical Character Recognition, the Virtual Print Driver, and Fax Import.

KCC was also attracted to MSF&W's ability to assist them with building a data-level interface to integrate with Kirtland's existing Jenzabar EX Student Information System. The staff time involved in indexing forty years worth of documents is greatly reduced by the direct interface between ID:webArchive and Jenzabar EX. This custom interface allowed KCC to quickly implement the solution across the department with less disruption to business processes.
